The focus of this release is to enable users to differentiate between website traffic coming from FeedOps enabled Free Product Listings in Google, Google Shopping Ads, and all other traffic. As such, this release introduces one important new feature:
- An Analytics Tagging settings component.
Product Links in the product information provided to Google by FeedOps are now tagged using UTM tags. Without this tagging, website traffic from Google Free Product Listings is classified in analytics as organic traffic (amongst all other organic traffic). With this tagging, website traffic from Google Free Product Listings coming from product information provided to Google by FeedOps can be uniquely identified in analytics by source and medium.
