The focus of this release is to provide a complete workflow for growing your website traffic from shoppers searching for the products you sell using Google Free Product Listings. As such, this release introduces two important new features:

  1. A Free Product Listings workflow that guides you at every step of the way to get organic traffic from Google Free Product Listings.
  2. A Free Product Listings performance report that shows the traffic you are getting from Google Free Product Listings.

Free Product Listings Workflow

FeedOps now comes with a built in workflow that guides you at every step of the way to get your products listed in Google’s Free Product Listings and measure the traffic you are getting. This workflow appears on the right hand side of the screen and can be accessed at any time. Current progress through the workflow is tracked, there are links to documentation at each next step in the workflow, and all remaining steps are listed.

In addition, at certain points in the workflow there are checklists of tasks that need to be completed, with links to where to complete these steps. There are also links to help documentation for each task.

Check off each step of the checklist as you complete the tasks. The checklist will automatically collapse once all steps are complete.

Free Product Listings Performance Report

FeedOps now reports website traffic that originates from Google’s Free Product Listings. This feature builds on the Analytics Tagging feature introduced in the previous release. This report appears in the Performance card on the FeedOps Overview screen, where it shows the traffic you are getting from Google Free Product Listings as sessions that have occurred in the last 30 days.

You can also access a detailed report by clicking OPEN REPORT in the Performance card, or by clicking on Performance under the Product Feeds menu in the main navigation menu on the left hand side of the screen. This detailed report will allow you to change Google Analytics views, as well as select different date ranges.

To get started, link your Google Analytics account in the Performance card on the FeedOps Overview screen. Instructions on how to connect Google Analytics are available by clicking Read help docs.
