The focus of this release is to introduce initial support for Google Search Ads, in the form of Responsive Search Ads for brand. In order to support this a new flow has been added to provide the steps and automations to create this Campaign.
A Brand Responsive Search Campaign will show up as a text ad in Google when someone searches for your brand (or website name). The benefit of using FeedOps to create a Brand Search campaign is that sitelinks will automatically be published using the product type data we have as a result of integrating with your eCommerce store.
When you create a Responsive Search Ad you will be asked to supply multiple headlines and descriptions. Google will use its machine learning to choose the most relevant headlines and descriptions to the person searching.
