How do I find my Microsoft Ads Customer ID Account ID?

Every advertiser in Microsoft Ads will have both a Customer ID and an Account ID. This article explains how to find them in the Microsoft Ads API.

What is the difference between a Customer ID and an Account ID in Microsoft Ads?

Anyone who pays for Microsoft Ads is considered a Customer. These are identified by a Customer ID, which will be a 10-character alphanumeric identifier.

Each Customer will then have one or more Advertiser Accounts. These are identified by an Account ID, which is a 8-character alphanumeric identifier. There are many reasons why a single Customer may wish to have more than one Advertiser Account under the same Customer, but perhaps the most common is where a single company is responsible for multiple brands.

How do I find my Customer ID and Account ID?

  1. Log in to Your Microsoft Advertising Account.
  2. In the top left corner, click on your account name.
  3. Look for your account ID at the first row under “All Accounts.”
    1. Customer IDs will be a 10-character alphanumeric value.
    2. Account IDs will be a 8-character alphanumeric value.
