Using Feed Rules to Apply Google Promotion IDs

Use Feed Rules in FeedOps to automatically assign Promotion IDs to products based on conditions, ensuring accurate and consistent promotions across all channels.

Feature Availability: Available on the Managed Plan and Scale Plan, with support for all channels.

  1. Navigate to Feed Rules:
    Go to Website Settings > Feed Rules.

  2. Add a New Rule:
    • Click Add Rule.
    • Select the channel(s) you want this rule to apply to. You can choose one, several, or all enabled channels
    • Provide a descriptive name for your rule, such as "Promotion ID - BOGO-2025", to clearly define its purpose.

  1. Add a Condition:
    • Filter for titles containing "sports socks"

    • Click Apply

    • In the Action settings, search for Promotion ID.

    • Set it to your chosen ID, such as BOGO-2025. Set the Action:

    • Once you've set up the condition and action, save the rule as a Draft.

    • If you've previously made manual edits to your promotion IDs and now want the feed rule to take precedence, ensure you select Override Manual Edits.Override Manual Edits (If Applicable)

  1. Save the Rule as Draft:

  2. Apply the Rule:
    • After reviewing the draft and confirming the setup, apply the rule to make it active.
