How to Add the UET Tag to Your BigCommerce Store

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

• You’ve connected your Microsoft Ads account.

• You’ve created a UET tag using the “Create UET Tag” button in the setup flow.

• You have admin access to your BigCommerce store.

Step 1: Copy Your UET Tag Code

1. In the UET Tag & Tracking Setup step, locate the Manual UET Tag Installation section.

2. Click the Copy button to copy the full UET script.

Step 2: Add the UET Tag to Your BigCommerce Store

1. In your BigCommerce admin dashboard, go to:
   Storefront > Script Manager

2. Click the Create a Script button

Step 3: Configure the Script Settings

In the "Create Script" form:

• Name: Microsoft UET Tag

• Location on page: Head

• Select pages where script will be added: All Pages

• Script category: Essential or Advertising (depending on your tracking policy)

• Script type: Script

• Content: Paste your full UET script here (copied in Step 1)

• Click Save

✅ Final Checks Before Saving

🔍 Double-check:

• You selected Head as the placement

• You applied the script to All Pages

• You pasted the full script (starting with <script> and ending with </script>)
